It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Within an unfavourable environment, God created a favourable atmosphere for Elijah; within the environment where things went wrong, God caused things to be fine for Elijah; in the place where others had no provision, God provided for Elijah. Things were not fine in Israel, but God made Elijah’s case different.
Friend, within the same environment that is unfavourable, God will create a favourable atmosphere for you. In the same places where others were rejected, God will cause you to be accepted; in the same places where people are insecure, God will secure you; in the same places where people are hopeless, God will arise on your behalf; in the places where others receive bad news, you shall have good news. Things may go wrong for others, but God will make things right for you.
Your destiny does not depend on what is happening around you; your destiny is not defined or determined by what is happening in your nation. Your destiny is a function of God’s word concerning you; your destiny is all about what God is able to do for you.
Look beyond men and focus on God. If God is on your side, things will turn out differently. If God is on your side, what affects others will not affect you.
Job 22 vs. 29 captures it aptly: “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.”
Pray With Me: Lord, what affects others will not affect me; my case is different, in Jesus’ name!

Friend, God says, the things you were once looking for, will start looking for you. The opportunities and the people you once sought after will come seeking for you; the help you were looking for will come looking for you; the jobs you once applied for will turn around to seek you out; the things you had to run after in the past, will come running after you.
In the past, you went for it, but now, it’s coming to you. God will turn the tables, and you won’t beg like you did in the past. Those who once rejected you will beg to have you back; those who dishonoured and disappointed you will come back to honour and favour you.
Jesus did not abandon His ministry simply because some people were initially unwilling to follow Him. He kept doing His thing, and things eventually turned around.
Keep doing your thing; keep doing what is right; keep improving yourself; keep trusting and believing God, and in a matter of time, the people and things you once sought after will come looking for you!
Psalm 23 vs. 6 captures it profoundly: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
Pray With Me: Lord, the people and things I once sought after will come looking for me, in Jesus’ name!
