What is legal but not logical, logical but not legal & neither legal nor logical?
Uwa failed in the final Law Exam & decided to make a deal with the Professor.
Uwa: Sir, Can I ask you one question?
Professor: Yes.
Uwa: If you can answer this question, I will accept my final marks, if you cant, you will have to give me an “A” grading.
Professor agreed.
Uwa asked: What is legal but not logical, logical but not legal & neither legal nor logical?
Even after some long and hard consideration, the professor cannot give The student an answer, and therefore changes his exam mark into an “A”, as agreed.
The following day, Professor asked same question to his students. He was shocked when all of them raised their hands……
He asked one student. He answered:
Sir, you are 65, married to a 28 yrs old woman, this is legal but not logical. Your wife, is having an affair with a 23 year old boy, this is logical but not legal.
Your wife’s boyfriend has failed in his exam & yet you have given him an “A”, this is neither logical nor legal.

UniPort appoints Ayoola-Daniels visiting Energy Law Professor!
The University of Port Harcourt, Emerald Energy Institute has appointed the President of the International Institute of Petroleum, Energy Law and Policy (IIPELP), Barr. Niyi Ayoola-Daniels as visiting Professor of Energy Law.
According to the University, Niyi Ayoola-Daniels was appointed on the basis of wealth of his professional and academic experience in the field of law and policy development in the Nigerian oil, gas and power sector.
Niyi Ayoola-Daniels, through IIPELP, has at different times delivered lectures and trained officials of various government ministries, agencies and parastatals, and will counsel, advice and lecture post graduate students of the university on oil, gas and the power sector.
According to the University, Niyi Ayoola-Daniels was appointed on the basis of wealth of his professional and academic experience in the field of law and policy development in the Nigerian oil, gas and power sector.
Niyi Ayoola-Daniels, through IIPELP, has at different times delivered lectures and trained officials of various government ministries, agencies and parastatals, and will counsel, advice and lecture post graduate students of the university on oil, gas and the power sector.
IIPELP organized high level trainings for NNPC, Rivers State government, NAPIMS, DPR, PPMC, Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Nigerian Gas Company, NPA, Total, Chevron, Shell, Exxon-Mobil, among others.
Ayoola-Daniels equally trained over 50 federal government lawyers from the Federal Ministry of Justice and organized a successful workshop for the Nigerian Judiciary on oil and gas, and is also the author of the award-winning book ” Nigerian Laws, Cases and Materials on Oil and Gas”.
Reacting to his appointment, former Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman Governing Council of IIPELP, Justice Alfa Belgore, has congratulated Niyi Ayoola-Daniels on his appointment, and said he will give the needed institutional support to the University as he has always done for legislative, executive and judicial arms of government.
Similarly, the NNPC Group Coordinator, Corporate Planning and Strategy, Dr. Timothy Okon, and Prof. Muhammed Ladan, Dean, Faculty of Law ABU Zaria, have also congratulated Ayoola-Daniels.
